SUMMARY:Investor's Monthly Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:Topic: LSU's Small Business Development Center\n\nGuest Speaker: Adam McCloskey\n\n\n\nWhat is Adam going to be talking about?\n\nI usually call my intro discussion "Small Business\, Big Impact." It tells a little bit about what the tax payers get out of the investment made in us\, how we can help\, and a few stories about actual businesses we've helped overcome their hurdles so that they see what we can do and learn that they're not alone. \n\n\n\n \n\nBio\n\nAdam McCloskey joined the Louisiana SBDC at LSU as the center director in 2022. There he oversees a staff of business consultants serving entrepreneurs in the Baton Rouge area\, as well as technology companies across the state. His areas of client concentration include business valuation\, acquisitions\, business model development\, industry benchmarking\, cash flow management and advertising.\n\n\n\nHe began a career in business consulting in 2016 when he became a consultant at the Florida SBDC at the University of West Florida before advancing to associate director for the Fort Walton Beach and Panama City offices in 2017. In 2019\, he was the winner of the Florida SBDC Network State Star\, the highest accolade possible for an SBDC Consultant and later his co-workers selected him as the regional MVP in 2022. He was the recipient of the first UWF College of Business Dean's Choice Award in 2021 and developed the process and spearheaded the team that won the Florida Alan Cowart Pioneer of the Year Award in 2022.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis meeting requires all attendees must be pre-registered and pre-paid. \n\nThank you for your cooperation!
